kenney should be ashamed. either i beat him to a piece of depauw news, or he didn't deem it worth enough for the blog. either way, it appears living in indiana does have some benefits... getting news like this (from the Indy Star)!
Everyone is getting in on the reality show bandwagon lately. Well, almost everyone. DePauw University in Greencastle was approached recently about whether there was any interest in having a celebrity enroll so a crew could track his comings and goings a la Anna Nicole Smith. The response from former Vice President Dan Quayle's alma mater was "No thanks," according to media relations director Ken Owen. And, who did the university turn down sight unseen? Tommy Lee, Motley Crue's drummer and ex-hubby of Pamela Anderson. E-online recently reported NBC has picked up the half-hour reality show featuring the musician. No word on which college he will attend.
that's depauw classing it up.
What's worse: Of my seven (7) DePauw friends with blogs, only one (1) has bothered to post that little tidbit. Maybe I'll get off my ass...
